Rachel Williams State Farm is seeking a highly motivated Acquisitions Specialist to join our growing agency in Olivette, MO. This is a sales-dominant role designed for a confident, goal-oriented professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and converting opportunities into new business.

Position Overview

As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus will be generating new business and expanding the agency’s customer base. You will connect with prospective customers, uncover their insurance needs, and recommend coverage options that help protect what matters most.

This role requires someone who is comfortable initiating conversations, following up consistently, and working toward defined sales goals in a structured agency environment.

Licensing Requirement

  • This position is contingent upon becoming fully licensed.
  • Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to Day 1 start in the office. Full licensing support will be provided.
  • Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of starting.
  • Our agency provides support, guidance, and resources throughout the licensing process to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, lead follow-up, and proactive outreach
  • Engage prospective customers by phone, email, and in person
  • Conduct needs-based conversations to identify appropriate insurance solutions
  • Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and related insurance products
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Consistently follow up with leads and existing opportunities
  • Track sales activity and production toward monthly goals
  • Collaborate with team members to support overall agency growth
  • Maintain compliance with agency and regulatory procedures

Qualifications

  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Strong desire to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Comfortable with prospecting, outbound calling, and asking for business
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple opportunities at once
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to meet the licensing requirements outlined above
